The Sustainable Energy, Materials, and Device Engineering (SEMDE) laboratory constantly welcomes talented and motivated undergraduate and master’s degree students on the team. Ph.D. Positions

The SEMDE lab. does not currently have a Ph.D. position available. However, exceptional and motivated students can always inquire about the availability of a Ph.D. position by emailing the group leader or Dr. Ivy M. Asuo 6 to 8 months before the Spring or Fall semester of the year they intend to enroll in the MatSE postgraduate program. The group supports prospective candidates or candidates with external fellowships, including the NSF GRFP or other funding opportunities (see details at the bottom of the page). Reach out to the PI or any staff members in advance if you would like our support and collaboration toward such applications.

Staff and Post-Doctoral Positions

Currently, there are no post-doctoral and staff positions in the SEMDE lab. Interested, exceptional, and motivated scholars can always reach out to find out about the availability and possibility of such a position through the group leader.

Additionally, prospective post-docs and staff interested in joining the lab by pursuing independent fellowships should reach out to discuss proposed projects. See some funding opportunities below.

Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future

Opportunity for faculty of the future : Ph.D. & Postdoc for Women

This scholarship is to support women in STEM at the doctoral and post-doc level to finish their final degree at an institution abroad. This can be a sandwich or a full program with a degree awarded by a host university abroad or jointly.  The Doumon Group is committed to support excellent female candidate who wish to pursue this opportunity.
